Jean-Claude Yagué and his son Melvin, wanted to create a “human-scale”
establishment. In keeping with the “boutique hotel” trend that is flourishing
in New York and London, this hotel, offering 25 rooms, 2 suites and 4-Star
service, decided to promote elaborate intimacy. In a purely contemporary
style, interior designer Arnauld de Petiville masterfully combined different
colour tones.The hotel’s carpeting and its hall and corridor bayadere-striped
wall-coverings make up its subtly trendy character. By mixing different shades
of wood, raphia fibre and varied materials, this multi-talented artist has
transformed each room into a refined, relaxing haven. This same stylish and
relaxing mood can be found in the ground floor salon, where Mariage Frères tea
and delicious cakes are served. The Hôtel Duret makes its guests want to stay
for a very long time.
